  • Meridian Rent A Car reserves the right to perform any necessary checks on the client and to approve or refuse the rental of a vehicle.

Limitation of liability

  • Meridian Rent A Car ensures the availability of the website without any express, implied, or statutory warranties or conditions regarding its content and functionality. Meridian Rent A Car shall not be liable for any errors or omissions occurring during or in connection with the use of the website; for any malfunctions, deficiencies, delays, or interruptions of the website, including but not limited to any failure of your computer or mobile device; or for any manner or purpose in which the website is used.

  • MERIDIAN Rent A Car does not assume liability for fluctuations in the vehicle fleet. The actual reservation of the rental vehicle shall be considered completed only after confirmation by a MERIDIAN Rent A Car representative via email or phone.
  • Vehicles from the “Premium” range cannot be rented by persons under the age of 25.
  • Any dispute arising from these “Terms and Conditions” shall be settled by the competent courts at the registered office of MERIDIAN Rent A Car.

Client obligations

  • The person renting the vehicle must specify, at the time of signing the contract, the first and last name of any additional person(s) who will drive the vehicle during the rental period, without the client being released from liability.
  • The use of the rented vehicle by persons other than those specified in the contract is strictly prohibited.
  • The rented vehicle may not be used for towing other vehicles, for the transport of goods and/or persons for remuneration, or for participation in races, rallies, or similar activities.
  • Subleasing the vehicle is prohibited.
  • Traffic violations, fines, and parking fees are the sole responsibility of the client and shall be borne entirely by them.
  • In the event of an accident, it is mandatory to report it to the Police, who will assess the damages and issue the Police Report and the Repair Authorization. These documents are essential for insurance coverage and vehicle repairs. Reporting to the Police is mandatory in all cases: whether you are at fault, a victim, the sole party involved, or when the responsible party is unidentified (e.g., parking damage in your absence). Without these documents, the client shall be responsible for repair costs.
  • If these conditions are not met, an additional guarantee may be requested, determined according to the value of the damage, which shall be refunded only upon the return of the vehicle in proper working and body condition, together with all documents, accessories, and equipment.
  • The extension of the rental contract shall be made only with the written consent (including fax or email) of MERIDIAN Rent A Car. The rental period may be extended only after advance payment of the rental fees for the extension period. Extending the rental period under any other conditions is strictly prohibited. Otherwise, the vehicle owner reserves the right to report any incident to the public authorities.
  • The client is obliged to notify MERIDIAN Rent A Car in writing (including fax or email) at least 12 hours in advance of any delay in returning the vehicle. A delay of up to one hour is permitted. Any unannounced delay of 1 (one) to 3 (three) hours shall be charged at 50% of the daily rental rate, and delays exceeding 3 (three) hours shall be charged at the full daily rental rate for the vehicle concerned.
  • For reservations without advance payment, the client may cancel or modify the reservation up to 48 hours before vehicle delivery. Reservation modifications are free of charge. No cancellation fee is applied.
